    Default Guitar Kits

I found out a while back that you can buy guitar kits, including lefties! But...

I have no idea if any of them are worthwhile. Has anybody here built a guitar from a kit?

I mean, most of them are worthwhile but you gotta put crazy stupid money into them.

I'm working up a plan to give to my luthier/tech in order to make affordable kits for lefties, both with and without hardware.

Sounds like a good idea to me, there's really only two options out there now, cheap crappy kits or Kiesel which are really nice but expensive, keep it simple and make something people would actually want and I think you'd do well

The kit plus money for a fret job, a finish, decent pickups and hardware, and whatever labor costs are involved with stuff above your skill level.

I am interested — assuming I can afford it.

Tons of details I'm trying to hammer out before presenting it, but I'm hoping to keep it affordable for everyone!
