    Cool NAMM 2019 Photos

Alright guys, sorry I'm a few days late, but I did get a few photos from this year's winter NAMM. Unfortunately this year I was only able to go for 1 day, and even then I had to leave a bit early, but I did my best to rush through all the major manufacturers to see if they brought anything to the table this year. I actually wasn't able to physically play any of the guitars this year as I fractured my right hand 2 weeks before NAMM (worst possible timing and I've been having mad guitar playing withdrawals), but at least I can report what I saw.

I'll be honest- I was extremely disappointed in this year's showing. The only new notable guitars were a new Pro-Mod SoCal from Charvel and the fact that Fender has some new Jazzmasters out. Ibanez had their RG550 Genesis on display, which I must say I was quite impressed with (but these were announced last year). Equilibrium was once again my favorite booth this year, and they even made a lefty specifically for NAMM. Kiesel brought a couple cool lefties as well, but they always do. Skervesen was at NAMM for the first time ever and they brought Felix Martin's old double neck 16 stringer. Thing was damn heavy. EVH and PRS brought the same crap they brought last year, and Gibson managed to only bring some shitty epiphone. I think a lot of the acoustics were the same as last year. I did find out that you can now order lefties from Aristides, and Caparison will likely be making some lefties of their new Horus FX-AM and Dellinger FX-AM series. I also got to meet Ola Englund and Jared Dines, which was cool. Freakin love Ola. Anyway, without further adieu, here are the photos.

whoah, that's a big haul. Thank you so much for being there. The lego guitar is insane!

Also, really seems like purple "neon" is not in the same league as DY/RFR as far as the POP factor goes.

Can you touch the guitars or is it hands off?

Some cool stuff in there. My favorite is that white 7 string Caparison.

Yah, the lego guitar was cool! I was able to touch all the guitars, except for the lego guitar, the esp eclipse custom, and that guitar with the skull and crosses on it as they were all closed off.

The purple neon doesn't look good IMO, and is definitely not a neon color. I was definitely disappointed in it. The Desert Yellow was amazing. Even better looking in person. I'd really like to get one some day.

And Ben- yes that 7 string Caparison Orbit with the gold pickguard was really something. They sold it immediately as soon as the show started. $4300 just like that...

Very awesome pics! Thanks for posting them!

Those Jazzies are going to be a part of Fender's regular production moving forward. Hopefully they'll start making MIM versions soon for us non-pointy folk
