    The long allen screw sticking out of the back is the string lock screw. That's what you tighten to clamp the string into the saddle itself.

    The intonation screws are the tiny allen heads located on the front of the saddle that hold the saddle to the bridge plate, and that's what you loosen to adjust the intonation.
