So I finished the telecaster! Today I drilled the headstock for the tuners that have 2 pins. Strung it up, intonated etc. I'm really happy with how this build came out. Plays really well and the tone is great. I could have bought a Tele with the money i spent but I'd put this up against any of the American Teles for sure!

It actually makes it more of a guitar because it has quality components that were carefully selected and assembled by yourself. Cant beat that man!

Great job, man! I am glad it worked out well for you. Yeah, maybe you could habe bought a Telecaster for what you paid, but this way you got all of the specific components and features that you prefer, and gained knowledge and experience with assembly and setup in the process!

I like the tone, too: nice grind out of the bridge pickup, and the nice "tubular" (as Satch calls it) tone out of the neck pickup that I love.

That is awesome. Sounds great, too. What amp were you playing through?

Thanks guys! I used my Fractal AX8 with a Suhr Badger amp model and then I boosted it with an ARC Effects Soothsayer and ARC Effects Klone.
