Well, this is probably not the right place to introduce myself, but I'm very happy to have found this forum. Here's my '86 MIJ Strat:

Slowhand70, I love your Strat. I don't have a big headstock Fender, but I like them very much. I also like maple fretboards, but the body and rosewood look great.

Here is mine, on the left. (the other one is just a buddy's american standard)

    Mex 60th anniversary stratocaster.
    -Sperzel locking tuners
    -tusq nut
    -graphtech ferraglide saddles
    -Tom Anderson Pickups
-Custom wiring with CTS pots, treble bleed, split on 2 and 4 switch positions, vintage voicing on single coil pickups, and a toggle to switch to the bridge pickup no matter what position the 5 pos switch is.

I love this one my only complaint is the lack of a 22nd fret...

There my pair of strats in one photo. The White one is made in Japan and those other pics are the neck and pocket numbers. I think it is a 72 reissue, 3 bolt with the micro tilt adjustment. Body is ash, maple neck and rosewoosd board. This one plays and sounds great.

Slowhand70, I think yours is the same.

The other strat is the 60 annivesary model.....I think Crawdaddy has the same one.

the picture is horrible, it looks amazing in person. It currently has what feels like super thick strings on it, but I'm leaving them on for now as they are brand new and I think it may help strengthen my hands. After that it's back to 09's!
