I saw this thread today and was at my bro's house I took this with my cameraphone while I was there
His is red... 2009 same as the 2010 I guess? 1.5vtec auto 16"whatever tires.. and around the hills of Pittsburgh his mini Cooper kills it for performance cause the cooper is a 5spd, but it rides very quiet and tracks well for a small car, ac is cold in 80+ in the back seat and brakes are very strong on hard stops. it gets 35 mpg on the highways around here as his wife's daily driver.

however him+wife+1 kid+a/c on+50lbs of cargo = extremely underpowered on the hills. << same as my 22FB non vtec auto accord

Them dang mini coopers are frickin' skate boards with a turbo charger and a couple of seats.. My buddy has a turbo charged mini and it gives my Solstice a run for the money. I've got 260 horses on my skate board and beat him in a straight run, but through the mountains, man his puppy sticks like glue.

I like mine better though, the top goes down..

did you get it in a manual?
Yeah, definitely had to go with the manual. I love it. It's not a sports car, but it's more fun to drive (and way more comfortable) than the Civic...and it's cheaper than the Civic...

    Now THAT'S a Mini Cooper!

    and that!
My gf had a couple of those. they're a bitch in upkeep, fun to drive, they corner at 100kmh easy. You do need hearing protection inside most of them though.
