My best friends band just got signed onto Combat Records so hopefully I’ll be able to upload some audio soon.

My S521L is 25.5" scale and 24 fret exactly like the spare RG1570L neck I have is. It'll work perfectly.

You *can* it just won't intonate properly.

A local band that really kicks ass out in these parts is Black Breath, riffs for days.

Hexen's State of Insurgency album is one of my all time favorites, as is their album Being and Nothingness, check it out if you like thrash.

I thought you couldn't put an RG neck on an S body because of the 22/24 fret thing?

The new Skeletonwitch is a departure from their discography, I'd start a new listener off with their album Beyond the Permafrost.

LOVED Power Trip, not sure about Skeletonwitch...yet. May need to listen to some more

It's pretty easy to install a standard jack in place of a barrel jack, except for guitars like the Ibanez S series and the Jackson Stealth.

Nope, it's got the typical football jack plate and a Switchcraft type jack....it probably IS Switchcraft for all I know, lol, I haven't looked inside...

I'm diggin' them both! The S plays great and is remarkably LIGHT. The San Dimas is incredible! Not much else I can say about it other than I LOVE it.
